Get ready for a big jump back in time and plunge deep into nature. In the pure Ardennes tradition, you will discover ancient manual skills associated with the forest.
In the midst of a 137-hectare protected forest, traversed by the sinuous Eau Rouge river, you will face a series of authentic forest challenges during a hike of approximately 4 km.
Learn how to tie knots and work with wood. Guide your herd of sheep or your draught horse. Have a go at shooting a rifle or chaff throwing… We have thought up many experiences that will enable you to reconnect with nature and with those around you.

Skidding
With the help of our skidder, learn how to guide your draught horse and avoid the obstacles that are in your way. You will see that a perfect symbiosis between man and horse can be achieved through simple effective communication. That’s an inspiration!
The wood saw
This broad blade saw has been used since the Gallo-Roman period. Handled by two people, it can cut large pieces. It’s up to you to saw a maximum number of calibrated rounds in the time allocated.
Cone harvesting
Harvest the most beautiful specimens of cones and seeds from the tree tops. Climb the trees using a forest ladder and abseil down. So exhilarating !
