Job – Chief accountant

Your responsibilities :

• To be the guarantor of the accounting accounts for all operating and real estate companies;
• Assist the accounting team in the flow of purchases, sales and miscellaneous operations;
• Validate all specific and analytical entries;
• Create and activate fixed assets;
• Coordinate the taking of inventories and validate valuations;
• Draw up monthly payment schedules, with particular emphasis on VAT and tax deadlines;
• Carry out monthly closings in collaboration with management control;
• Integrate monthly balances and flows for consolidation purposes, and manage intercompany controls;
• Prepare annual financial statements, tax returns and associated reports;
• Assist management control with the budget process;
• Manage relations with external experts and auditors.
  

Your profile:

• Minimum 10 years as a Chief Accountant from A to Z in the events sector;
• Team management and/or having been in a right-hand-man role, especially in a changing environment;
• Rigorous, proactive, able to cope with stress;
• Open-minded, dynamic, flexible, with good communication skills to integrate into an existing team;
• Sense of method and organization;
• Good writing skills;
• Good command of IT tools (Excel, Word, etc.), and the use of
• YUKI|Visma and BOB accounting software;
• Affinity with the use of digital tools;
• Knowledge of French, and a good command of Dutch and English.
